The Venice Beach Freak Show Poster has taken on a new look to add depth and inter-connectivity from the areas. Text in the lower right box has been re-arranged, the banner has added details and shadows and circles are now expansive with bursts.
The turtle, frog and calf all have been updated with added detail.
LAYOUT 1: toast. How many photographs did you take? I have to give you credit for getting the perfect image. One of the hard things is for you to keep this simple. Keep on target and get the image out. The more you play with the imagery the closer you get to completion of the advertisement. I think the gradation of the toast from light to dark works well and the over laying of the power station and the filters you ran the image through works well. Body text on bottom is nearly there on the 3rd one – needs to be justified on both ends. Good kit image size.
ReplyDeleteLAYOUT 2: The possibilities for the pop tarts is very colorful and can really look toxic. Because the images are in the middle of the page they need to look square and not skewed. The images are very toxic and need a shadow to ground them. The logo underneath needs to be smaller and the raedon logo. The final third one did not need the kit could have been the logo but that would be applied on the final 1/2 page.
LAYOUT 3: the sizes in the ½ advert are problematic – not the same size? Also would like to have seen a shadow under the marshmellow but this is a great series. The kit should have been smaller under the toasted food
IDEA / Slogan: excellent idea and execution. You have to keep on target. You had this idea for 3 weeks. Perhaps it is the translation from idea to visualization that is hard. We all have it but the sooner you chuck it all together the easier it is to get over the transition and can work through the changes that are needed.
